Lovedrug Climbdown

This music video was crafted for the track 'Lovedrug Climbdown' by the electro-rock ensemble Pentagram, featured in their album 'Bloodywood'.

'Lovedrug Climbdown' delves into the theme of love, encapsulating its highs and lows within the context of the urban landscape, particularly the bustling city of Mumbai. Through keen observation of the city's rhythms, routines, repetitions, and the intricate patterns of daily life, we curated a collection of reference videos.

These videos served as the foundation for our conceptualization, utilising elements that symbolise the essence of Mumbai, often overlooked in passing glances.

The video unfolds as a series of loops, capturing cyclical motions that begin with quintessential Mumbai scenes: sipping cutting chai, carousel ponies, Babas engaged in self-flagellation, bustling buses, taxis, carnival robots on the beach, metered taxis, pav bhaji, and more, interspersed with sketches of the band members.
