NH7 Periphery Art Project

We spearheaded, curated, designed, and brought to life 'The NH7 Periphery Art Project'—an innovative travelling exhibition featuring thematic visual art and illustrations screen printed onto the perimeter cloth surrounding each stage area at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender Music Festival 2016 editions in Shillong, Hyderabad, and Pune.

In 2016, while working on the on-ground and stage designs for Bacardi NH7 Weekender, we conceived a fresh, curated art initiative: The NH7 Periphery Art Project. We initiated an open call for artists to submit their three best works, from which we selected 30 artists. These artists then crafted 30 distinct single-colour artworks centred around the theme of UTOPIA.

These artworks were translated into screen prints on fabric and travelled across cities as part of the periphery cloth at the festival. Notably, the Pune Edition included a dedicated exhibit for The NH7 Periphery Art Project.

The lineup of visual artists included: Abhimanyu Ghimiray, Ajinkya Bane, Akash Raj Halankar, Amitabh Kumar, Anand Radhakrishnan, Biscoot & Rain, By Two Design, deadtheduck, Deborah Di Fiore, Jasjyot Singh Hans, Kashmira Sarode, Khyati Trehan, KometJuice, Matt Lee, Mukund Iyer, Nat Stone, Nikunj Patel, Nalisha Chouraria, Pragun Agarwal, Prateek Vatash, Rohan Jha, Sachin Kondhalkar, Shrey Purohit, Sumedha Sah, Sundeep Upadhyaya, Taarika John, Trusha Sawant, Upasana Mehndiratta, Vishnu M Nair, and Yashasvi Mathis.
